This was a very quick read for me as I just could not put it down. Their hair is uncombed, and they look just ghastly. She is laugh out loud funny, her comebacks are simply amazing! Her voice is distinct and unmistakable from start to finish. The characters were fabulously written with a attractive chemistry between them. Season 4 recently wrapped, so hopefully this sweet little book will help hold us over until next season. The book also has a lot of funny parts not laugh out loud, but tongue-in-cheek humor. It would also be nice if you could zoom in on the art.
Grabbed this book on a whim while waiting on a few other books to become available at the library. I was impressed with Patricia's background; I did not know much about her and had assumed she had acquired her wealth primarily by marrying into money. From advice on makeup, clothing and organizing life to dealing with guests, providing seasonal entertaining and enjoying being a hostess. Recommended for all interested in Ms. Would you like to rate your recent purchases on Amazon or Ebay? Altschul and her Southern way of life.
I highly recommend this book with its household tips and delicious recipes that will have your mouth watering and planning a trip to your nearest Wegmans or the Piggly Wiggly if you are down south! Now I wish I was Southern. Find and read opinions on clothes, Tv Shows, ebooks, video games, meals, gadgets, services or household items. She is southern charm personified! There's nothing earth shattering here, but it did remind me of my love for fine stationary and also inspired a desire to try Claus Porto Madrical soap in Water Lily, apparently one of Patricia's favorite things sounds delightful. Do not wait and do this here! If you were a brunette, stay with your natural color as long as you can remember it! Patricia may just jumped onto the big scene by being on Bravo's Southern Charm but she shows everyone in this book what got her to that point in her life. If you are both of those - you will enjoy it as I did.
I especially love her private anecdotes re her life, with and without e enforces the fact that she is completely genuine. I truly enjoyed reading this book. The book is a nice window view into a privileged life and at many of its pleasantries. Thankfully, none are too complicated or beyond the most challenged of us domestic divas. She is one of my favorite people on Southern Charm on Bravo. Throughout this book she gives advice on dressing, parties, and life in general! I make no apologies for being a big fan of Southern Charm and an even bigger fan of Patricia Altschul.

It truly has a bit of everything. Reading this book felt like sitting on her piazza and having a conversation with the grand dame of all things southern. Also, Pat contains tip from popular mates such as Carolyn Roehm which was a nice surprise as well as product links where appropriate. More often than not, she will have you smiling as you read and you'll soak up her new ideas and Southern lore. I love Southern Charm and I do have a soft spot for Miss Patricia. I think my favorite part of this story is how sassy Charlie is. I loved it, and it was exact dose of medicine I needed to feel better.
Always stay up to speed on current events. I will be fair and just; the book was well written, organized in a way I appreciate in nonfiction and there were a few fleeting moments when I thought and believed that Altschul could possible be relatable. With more of a closer look at her personal life and what to do or not to do at social gatherings in the South, this book is a must read for any true Southern Charm fan!! She also proved her mettle by scoring highly on all things we southerners keep dear: pledging allegiance to Duke's mayonnaise, Edward's ham, and deviled eggs served with monogrammed napkins sans chargers, darling! I think I probably still would have loved the book simply because I adore southern culture. After a break last week we are back to charleston for the southern charm season 5 finale the entire episode is the build up to the event of the season. Her advice on throwing a dinner party was definitely something I I didn't all the way dislike this book, there were a few gems hidden withing what seemed like a vast and uninviting looking into a lifestyle I neither have nor desire.
