Jane tries to get them together but Jeffrey knows nothing can happen since they are returning to the past. He knew exactly what he wanted and he let reality teach himself and others involved. I thoroughly enjoyed this read! Can't say I enjoyed this as much as the other books. There was a little part of me that almost thought that Mac would eff this up and not be with the man who was obviously made for her. However there are tons of familiar faces, Cooper related hijinx, and lots of love in all its forms; family, friendship, etc. There are going to be a few times where the heroine,Mackenzie is going to make you scream, but you are going to love her in the end.
Let me not lie, i was beyond ready to shake both Mac and Rahim which i wrote you and told you lol but they definitely won my heart over! I'm a fan of B. I didn't want the story to end. Anyway, because it wasn't a bad book, I finished it but overall it was just an okay read for me. Jeffrey has stayed in the 17th century for his adopted son Cooper. Rahim was such an honorable man, how could she resist him but he gave her the time to see what everyone else already knew! What I read was brilliant beauty just everything you want in a romance between friends that had history.
Well over McKenzie back and forth. When Kathleen and Jane end up in 17th Century they must convince Jane where she is. She has you so wrapped up in her stories that all you are doing is embedding the characteristic of the male character to see if you can find him in real life. She allows her most powerful vessel to guide her stories, wholly. Best friends that should be lovers. What a smart tenacious kid. Claire could have then focused more time on building the relationship between Jeffery and Kathleen more.
Like the saying goes, The best come to those who wait. I thought the book was well written and the emotions and connections of the characters spoke well through the words. This is especially true for Kathleen I really wanted more development for this novella and was just left saddened by the speed with which the story played out. Nope not me didn't have a clue until the end. The writing and dialogue seems as if it shou Yeah it's good! I believe this was the first full on romance genre novel I've read where the focus is solely on the relationship or lack there of. Mackenzie is letting her past dictate her future.
Amazing As Always As always really enjoyed this. I love that Rahim is so on point about what it is that he wants, that you look at this male character and you smile because you are not getting macho crap. In the end though, she smartened up. For a 20th century man, finding a woman to spend his life with is difficult especially among the 17th century women who prefer the sword welding Highlanders. This causes friction between Je In Due Time is Jeffrey Oakes' story. This story is in a separate class all by itself.
Mackenzie and Rahim were a cute couple. This is definitely a new author I will be watching out for and reading. I absolutely adore Mackenzie and Rahim's story. The way this book, took me on a roller coaster ride, flipping, and spinning my emotions out of control…I'm still recovering from it. I'm holding out hope when the series gets to the end, we may be blessed with a story of grown Cooper falling in love. However there are tons of familiar faces, Cooper related hijinx, and lots Another A+!! Her pen bleeds for the souls who need just an inkling of empowerment.
This was my 1st time reading Reading a novel by B. I love that Rahim is so on point about what it is that he wants, that you look at this male character and you smile because you are not getting macho crap. True Love This story was outside the box for B. Keep them coming B, I'll keep reading! My first clue to myself should have been when I inbox you when I was a little over halfway through the book mad as hell. He's super cute and extremely loyal, qualities I hope never abandon him.
But she needed to get herself together first. A wonderful story with Jeffrey confessing his love for Kathleen. Rahim to me is almost a rare species. Rahim and Mackenzie are best friends. I just hope to see her stretch a bit more. I was worried it would take an almost wedding for Mac to see the light, luckily she came to her senses before that! There was so much angst in that book, my heart broke while theirs did. I wanted to ask what are you trying to do to me, your audience? Novellas can be fulfilling and complete--and I can't wait to be proven wrong time and time again.
Now is the time to be selfish with Rahim's love and not care what others may or may not think of her. It took Rahim moving on with someone else for Mackenzie to realize he is the one she belongs with. Mackenzie just about killed both Rahim, and me with her resistance, and hesitance--but the slow burn, the wait, was well worth it. Since age 12, Love has been spreading self-awareness, care, and appreciation. However, when she ended it with the ring and confessed and he pulled out hers. When Jeffrey returned to the 20th century with Cooper to visit Cooper's grandparents and Jane Mitchell, he meets Kathleen Carter.
