Hewn is the bread-y emporium of The Main-Dempster Mile, and today I was in the area and stopped in to see their expanded space. Everything was freshly baked and smelled amazing. I first had the Picholine-Olive Country and then the Whole Wheat Gruyere. I can see why people come here in herds. Their offerings of bread were aplenty as the variety of baked goods. The monkey bread was a huge hit, hard and crispy outside, soft inside, surprisingly light and not too sweet.
